BEFORE TREATMENT
• Remember not to perform deep peels or ablative treatments on the area you intend to treat with the
EMTONE BTL device for 3 months prior to treatment,
• Start hydrating your body two days before the procedure. Make sure you drink 2-3 litres of water a day,
• Jewellery should be removed for the treatment,
• The treatment area should be hair-free and we recommend shaving it thoroughly before the treatment.
COURSE OF TREATMENT
The treatment is performed on clean skin. The staff first removes any residual cosmetics, body lotions, etc., and then
checks that the skin is hair-free.
A conductive gel is then applied to the clean skin. The practitioner applies the applicator head to the skin and makes
circular movements while emitting radio and acoustic waves. The applicator tip is constantly in contact with the
tissues, warming them up and mobilising them to firm and slim. You will feel warmth, reminiscent of a warm stone
massage, as well as vibrations.
The optimum temperature of 40-45 degrees Celsius will be reached in as little as 90 seconds from the start of the
treatment. This is important because all the remaining time will be used to effectively stimulate tissue remodelling.
The duration of the treatment is approximately 20 minutes.
AFTER TREATMENT
Only for a short while will your skin be reddened at the treatment site. This means that the tissues have reached the
right temperature and the intensive slimming and firming process has begun in your body. The erythema will last for a
maximum of several dozen minutes.
Continue to hydrate for 4 days after your treatment, drinking a minimum of 2 litres of water every day. This will give
you better results, your body will get rid of the released fat and toxins faster.
The skin may be dry after the procedure, moisturise with a standard body lotion.
In rare cases, there may be slight itching of the skin and, in susceptible individuals, minor haematomas or petechiae.

FREQUENCY OF TREATMENTS
Studies have shown that for optimum results, a series of 4 EMTONE BTL treatments should be carried out, preferably
at weekly intervals, also acceptable every 3-10 days. This is a very short treatment compared to other series dedicated
to the body, where up to 10-20 treatments are recommended to get rid of imperfections.
However, if the problem is advanced (e.g. advanced cellulite), clients must expect additional treatments. The effects of
monopolar radio-wave combined with acoustic waves are usually visible a few weeks after the first treatment.
